Notice

The minimum processing temperature is +5 °C. It is essential that the layer does not come into contact with the effects of rain, frost or water pressure until both layers are completely dry. Keep out of direct sunlight. Ideally, substrates on which no coating is to be applied (e.g. in a space that will subsequently be plastered) should be covered, as the bitumen agent cannot be removed without leaving behind residue. During application, it is recommended that you wear personal protective equipment (safety goggles, art. no. 0892 102 ff./gloves, article no. 0899 435 ff.).

Respiratory protection (P2 particulate filter) is also required when spraying. In principle, any other applicable specifications or regulations with regard to use of machinery, environmental protection and personal protective equipment must be observed during use.

Application area

The instructions for use are recommendations based on the tests that we have carried out and our experiences; you should carry out your own tests on the product prior to each application. Because of the large number of applications as well as storage and processing conditions, we accept no liability for results arising from specific applications. If our free customer service provides technical information or advice, no liability is accepted except when the advice given or the information provided falls within the scope of our specified, contractually agreed service or where the adviser acted intentionally. Application area

For secure, permanent sealing based on DIN 18533-3. To be used in the Würth construction sealing system for permanent sealing of foundations and cellars, for construction elements that come into contact with the ground, for patios and balconies without underlying structures and in wet spaces. Not suitable for water entering from behind or for sealing roofs.

Instructions

The substrate must be dry to lightly moist and free from grease, oil, frost and tar. Loose components and protruding mortar residues must be removed before work is begun. Apply a layer of waterproofing system primer coat (art. no. 0893 212 100) to prepare the surface. Sharp edges must be blunted and corner and transition areas must be rounded off by means of a chamfer with watertight mortar (art. no. 0893 212 110). Depths > 5 mm should be evened out using waterproof mortar art. no. 0893 212 110. For proper application, the "Guidelines for planning seals of components in contact with the ground with plastic-modified bitumen-latex thick coatings" and the specifications in DIN 18533 must be observed. Ideally, the 1-component bitumen-latex thick coating should be stirred prior to application with a mixing rod, article no. 0713 95 137 and a stirrer, article no. 0702 836. 1-component bitumen-latex thick coating must be applied in two layers. Both layers can be applied freshly on top of each other.
