Notice

The minimum processing temperature is +5°C. It is essential that the effects of rain and frost and water stresses are prevented until both coats have completely dried. Direct sunlight should be avoided. Ideally, surfaces not to be coated (e.g. in an area to be subsequently plastered) should be covered, as the bitumen compound cannot be removed without leaving residue. During application, it is recommended that you wear personal protective equipment (safety goggles, art. no. 0892 102 ff./gloves, art. no. 0899 435 ff.).

Breathing protection (particulate filter P2) is also required for spraying. In principle, other possible valid specifications or regulations regarding the operation of machines, environmental protection or personal protective equipment must be observed during application.

Application area

The usage instructions are recommendations based on the tests we have conducted and our experience; carry out your own tests before each application. Due to the large number of applications and storage and processing conditions, we do not assume any liability for a specific application result. Insofar as our free customer service provides technical information or acts as an advisory service, no responsibility is assumed by this service except where the advice or information given falls within the scope of our specified, contractually agreed service or the advisor was acting deliberately. Application area

For secure, permanent sealing based on DIN 18533-3. Can be used in the Würth building waterproofing system for permanent sealing of foundations and cellars, for construction components in contact with the ground, for patios and balconies without underlying structures, and in wet rooms. Not suitable for water penetrating from behind or for sealing roofs.

Instructions

The surface must be dry to slightly moist, and free from grease, oil, frost and tar. Loose components and protruding mortar residues must be removed before commencing work. Apply building waterproofing system primer coat (art. no. 0893 212 100) to prepare the surface. Sharp edges must be blunted, corner and transition areas must be rounded off by means of a chamfer with waterproof mortar (art. no. 0893 212 110). Depths > 5 mm should be evened out using waterproof mortar art. no. 0893 212 110. For proper application, the "Guidelines for planning seals of components in contact with the ground with plastic-modified bitumen-latex thick coatings" and the specifications in DIN 18533 must be observed! Ideally, single-component bitumen-latex thick coating should be stirred before application using a mixing paddle art. no. 0713 95 137 and an agitator, art. no. 0702 836. "Single-component bitumen-latex thick coating" must be applied in two layers. Both layers can be applied freshly on top of each other.
