Flexible crack-bridging, mineral one-component sealing slurry for indoor and outdoor use
  • Quick-setting, tiles and panels can be laid approx. 3-4 hours after the second coat application

  • Very good spreading and smoothing properties

  • Easy to apply

  • Can be painted, filled or sprayed with a suitable device

  • Very low emissions according to GEV-EMICODE

  • Vapour-permeable, resistant to frost, UV and ageing

  • Suitable as composite sealant for water influence classes W0-I to W3-I without chemical exposure in accordance with DIN 18534 Part3
Notice
  • Direct contact with metals such as copper, zinc and aluminium must be prevented by using a pore-tight primer such as CERAfix 103 2C special adhesive primer/CERAfix 203 casting and adhesive resin.

  • The substrate and CERAfix 300 must be prevented from dropping below the dew point (condensation formation) during the application and drying phases.

  • In rooms with a low temperature, high humidity and insufficient ventilation, an extended drying time should be anticipated. Direct heaters are not suitable for drying in these types of rooms!

  • Protect surfaces that do not require treatment against exposure to CERAfix 300!

  • During the bonding process, the seal must not be exposed to water. If water gets behind the material, it can lead to spalling in the event of frost.

  • Avoid exposure to direct sunlight during application.

  • During the drying phase, the seal must be protected from water.

Application area

The single-component flexible sealing slurries are used for sealing under tiles in applications where long-term and permanent protection against water exposure must be ensured, e.g. in residential bathrooms and kitchens, private and public toilet facilities and pool surrounds. The product is suitable as a seal in a composite for water impact classes W0-I to W3-I without chemical impact in accordance with DIN 18534 and ZDB information sheet "Compound sealing".

Instructions

Prime the surface with CERAfix 101 (avoid puddling!) or moisten it so that it is matt moist when the CERAfix 301 slurry-type seal coating is applied. As an alternative to CERAfix 101, CERAfix 102 can be used with a mixing ratio of 1:3 to water.
