The high-quality ABS-LockSeal XL Plastic sealing collar is specially designed for plastic roofs. Its specialised dimensions, with a continuous length of 300 mm, make it possible to place the collar over the water-bearing layer without the need for additional extensions. The product is manufactured as a single piece and has notches for making a clean, straight cut to the desired length. The collar length can be adapted to fit the roof in 20 mm increments.
The ABS-LockSeal XL Plastic is available in two versions for posts with a diameter of 16 or 42 mm. The sealing collars are therefore ideal for use with ABS Safety lifeline systems and fit all lifeline systems and most personal anchor points with or without additional posts.
The heat-shrink tubing supplied fits the diameter of the post. The ABS-LockSeal XL Plastic for posts with diameter 16 mm comes with a 100 mm tube. The version for anchor post with a diameter of 42 mm comes with a 150 mm tube.

The plate (dia. 22 cm) of the ABS-LockSeal XL Plastic is simply fitted onto the relevant anchor point or corresponding anchor post from above and bonded to the PVC substrate. On the upper end, the seal is created using heat-shrink tubing. When heated with a hot air gun or similar tool, the tubing pulls tightly around the end of the collar and post.
