Ideal power transmission thanks to RW drive
- More power due to larger contact area at the bit
- More stability, one-handed working, precise positioning due to the tight-fit recess and perfect fit of the bit
- Fewer bit changes, one bit for many screw diameters
- Compatibility with previous AW drive
Form-fitting connection to metal fittings or in wooden products with high bulk density
- For fitting connection with full-thread steel screws
- Perfect fit of 90° head in fitting parts with metal countersinks
- Pulls together without head milling due to lack of milling elements below the head
- The head is inserted by pressing
Higher breaking torque
- Higher power transmission in hardwoods due to reinforced, asymmetrical thread flank geometry of the single thread
- Better anchoring thanks to higher thread flanks
Smooth thread start ensures optimised recessing and biting of the screw
- Reduced splitting effect due to displacement effect of the dome-shaped milling elements in the tip
- Friction-reduced thread rotation allows reduction of the screw-in force to be applied
Suitable for high chloride or SO2-contaminated areas with simultaneous exposure to splash water or fog
- Made of high corrosion-resistant, austenitic, non-magnetic and non-rusting stainless steel, class HCR (high corrosion resistant) 1.4539
- Can be used in outdoor areas exposed to the elements, areas with spray water or foggy areas or industrial atmosphere with a high level of chloride exposure at simultaneous elevated concentrations of SO2 and high humidity and with significant concentration of pollutants
- Corrosion resistance class KWK IV
- ASSY screws are approved for quasi-static loads
- For optimum use of the screw, the right-size RW bit must be used
- Partial-thread screws are ideal for connecting wooden components. To achieve optimum assembly of the components, the components to be fixed must not be thicker than the length of the shank
- To avoid contact corrosion that can occur between two different metals in direct contact. The noble metal promotes, in conjunction with e.g. water or normal humidity, corrosion of the base metal. It is generally recommended that the product with the smaller surface area, e.g. the screw, be made of the noble metal. A shielding non-conductive layer between the metals is also recommended
ETA-11/0190 approved
The requirements of the European Technical Approval (ETA) must be observed
Datasheets(X)
For wood-wood connections designed to pull together in areas severely exposed to corrosion
The partial thread starting immediately below the shank allows for wood-wood connections designed to pull together. The screw thread is positioned entirely in the lower component once screwed in.
Can be used for outdoor applications and utilisation class 3
