The antimicrobial effect has been confirmed by independent testing laboratories: 99.99% efficacy against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria (tests according to JIS Z 2801 / ISO 22196 against Staphylococcus aureus, MRSA, E. coli). Efficacy of 99.99% against enveloped viruses (performance confirmed within 8 hours according to the S2 screening test based on RKI [1995] guidelines and ISO 21702:2019 standard against coronaviruses).

The antimicrobial action is purely physical and not due to chemical or ionic interactions. The antimicrobial coating does not contain biocides or nanoparticles.
