This type of floor marking must not be subjected to high mechanical stress, in particular from heavy industrial trucks, turning or pivoting manoeuvres on the marking, or from dragging or pushing pallets across the marked area.

Application area

The dot-shaped floor marking is suitable for pinpoint marking of parking and set-down areas, for example for trolleys, containers, machines and test fixtures, as well as for defining fixed set-down positions at workbenches and assembly stations. Measurement, reference and inspection points can also be clearly marked, particularly where discreet marking is required that covers less area than lines.

On smooth indoor floors, it is designed for pedestrian areas and rolling transport equipment such as pallet trucks, roll containers and tugger trains under light to medium traffic.

Multiple colour options and good visibility support a standardised marking system for 5S and lean management, and the symbol can be ideally combined with other floor-marking types.

Instructions

For optimal adhesion, the surface must be clean, dry and free from release agents such as grease, oil, surfactants, dirt and dust. The use of butyl primer is also recommended on certain surfaces, particularly concrete and asphalt.

When peeling, do not touch the adhesive area and try to remove the protective film in one piece. Immediately position and stick the marking in place. Press firmly. We recommend a press-on roller for a particularly uniform finish.

Avoid air pockets and ensure correct positioning, as the high adhesive strength means it cannot be removed and repositioned without damage. The dots can be driven over or walked on immediately after application.

Marking strips can be individually removed in case of damage. The use of Industry Cleaner is recommended for clean, residue-free removal of any remaining adhesive.
