Blocks water and vapour diffusion
Protects from moisture penetration from indoors into the masonry and thus prevents the risk of moisture-related structural damage.
Very high flexibility and resistance:
- Thanks to its high-quality and flexible material, the EPDM film remains permanently sealed and compensates particularly well for component movements
- Its high UV and weathering resistance make the EPDM film ideally suited for permanently secure sealing
- Reliable installation is also achieved on slightly uneven construction surfaces, when combined with EPDM sealing tape adhesive
- Good compatibility with bitumen
Secure installation on uneven surfaces
With SMP EDDN tape adhesive/EPDM sealing tape adhesive, the tape can also be installed over uneven surfaces.
Good compatibility with bitumen materials
Not suitable for sealing elements against pressurised water. The tape cannot be plastered.
The above usage instructions are recommendations based on the tests we have conducted and our experience. Please perform your own tests before using the product. We ensure the consistent quality of our products and reserve the right to make improvements and technical changes.
Datasheets(X)
Durable, reliable sealing for internal connections of building elements, e.g. façades made of aluminium elements, conservatories etc.
The surfaces to be glued should be dry and free of dust and grease and should allow for load redistribution.
Cut the EPDM tape to the required width and length. Apply the adhesive for EPDM tapes to the surface to be glued and distribute with a spatula. Glue the EPDM tape to the surface and press lightly with a roller so that the glued tape is not under tension.
The sealing tape should be fixed to the frame/element with a mechanical attachment (for example with sealing caps, clamping strips).
