Notice
  • The product must not come into contact with isocyanate-reactive substances (e.g. alcohol, thinners, cleaners, silane-modified polymer or silicone-based products) before complete curing. Contact with such substances may prevent the product from fully curing.

  • Stress cracks: PMMA, ABS, PC and PS plastics can only be bonded when they are not under stress, as otherwise stress cracks can form. A prior test is required.

Application area

It is particularly suitable for bonding insulating glass in window leaves, as well as for bonding insulating glass units in door and window systems.

The processing and curing parameters are optimally adapted for use with bonding machines. The adhesive bonding improves the quality of the window and can also have anti-intrusion properties.

Instructions

The surface must be clean, dry and degreased. IPA cleaner is best suited to PVC and wooden profiles. Only an acetone-based cleaner is suitable for aluminium profiles. For optimum adhesion, use EURABOND ACTIVATING CLEANER (for silicone). In the case of PVC profiles, EURABOND PRIMER PVC should then be applied abrasively to the surfaces to be bonded, using a cleaning sponge.

The mixing nozzle is fitted to a double cartridge, which is then inserted into the AirFlow VBA 400A MR 2C pneumatic dispensing gun. Do not use the first 2 centimetres for bonding.
