- The locks can be used on emergency exit doors in accordance with EN 179 and panic bolts in accordance with DIN EN 1125, with horizontal operating bars, on the emergency escape route
- The split nut has a spring on both sides. This keeps the handles horizontal on both sides of the door
- The bolt is locked once the key is turned approx. 100°
Profile cylinders in accordance with EN 1303 may only be used in FH 61 locks if they have been tested for use on fire doors and smoke protection doors.
Thumbturn, free-wheeling and electric cylinders may be used on panic locks (B, D).
A device must have been tested in conjunction with the relevant door fitting in order to be deemed compliant with DIN EN 179: 2008 and DIN EN 1125:2008.
