The sanding belt has a multibond. This is an additional coating that is applied to the size coat of the abrasive during machining. Like other coolants, this layer reduces frictional heat.
The enhanced sanding performance when machining stainless steel makes the CS 410 X sanding belt with its tear-resistant cotton backing a real all-rounder. Its main areas of application include blade machining, tank and container construction, construction of railings and chemical equipment engineering.
