The waterproof sanding belt type CS 411 Y can be used for a variety of metalworking applications. Examples include aircraft construction, the automotive industry, the manufacture of pipes and railings as well as equipment engineering and container construction.
The tear-resistant polyester backing ensures a high load-bearing capacity. The grit is made of self-sharpening zirconia alumina. This ensures a high level of aggressiveness and thus a very good removal rate. The machining of stainless steel is also optimised by special active sanding agents in the size coat. These prevent premature vitrification of the abrasive grain.
