To ensure a high material removal rate, the tear-resistant cotton backing of the LS 309 X is coated with a hard corundum abrasive grain applied in a dense scattering with an all-synthetic resin bond. The LS 309 X sanding belt is used, among other things, in the metalworking industry, in the wood industry and in the craft sector. In the wood industry, it is primarily used for the surface sanding of hardwood. In metalworking, it can be used for coarse and fine sanding thanks to the different grain sizes offered by Klingspor.
