SR 700 is a battery powered fan unit. Together with particle filters SR 510 P3 R / SR 710 P3 R and approved head part, it is a component of Sundström's ventilation-assisted breathing protection system.
The fan has filters and the filtered air is delivered to the head part through a breathing hose. The resulting overpressure prevents the ingress of contamination from the environment.
