  • Manufactured with undersized thread in tolerance class 6AZ (thread play) before surface protection is applied (DIN EN ISO 10684)

  • The screw is ISO-compatible after hot dip zinc-plating

  • Do not use with nuts that have an oversized thread. This can create problems in the bolted joint and may cause the connection to fail.

DIN 931 has been withdrawn and replaced by ISO 4014. There is some similarity (nominal dimensions extended | width across flats changed for M10, M12, M14 and M22).
