  • Acoustic decoupling effect

  • Material swells when exposed to fire, meeting the requirements of German regulations for pipe systems (LAR) for pipe ducts
Notice

Cut intumescent strips to match the circumference of the pipe. Attach self-adhesive strips in a single layer around the pipe. Should the wall or ceiling be thicker than 15 cm, a second strip must be laid around pipe so that the strip covers the pipe over the entire ceiling or wall thickness. The carcass opening can now be filled with concrete or cement mortar.

The distances between individual lines can be found in the current LAR.
