Joint seal

WÜTOP^® Flex is cut to the appropriate length with scissors. Then roughly adapt the material to the roof profile and remove the cover film from the back adhesive layer. Then firmly press it against the bricks and evenly rub it into the corrugation valley. WÜTOP^® Flex can also be bonded to each other. Ensure good and firm bonding with the surface, especially in corners. Using a rubberised pressure roller is recommended. If WÜTOP^® Flex is used on upright components (e.g. fireplaces), the upper edge must be fitted with a standard cover flashing and sealed with a permanently elastic sealant.

Observe the following points to ensure good, permanent bonding:

• Application from +5°C


• The surface must be clean, dry and free from dust and grease


• WÜTOP^® Flex must be precisely adapted to the contour of the surface and pressed firmly


• Perform your own tests to ensure proper adhesion to siliconised bricks
