To perform cleaning work on varnish and other materials, the disc must be placed on a backing pad. In the case of the Quick Change Disc with plastic closure, this is done by screwing it in place with an internal metal pin. The QCA 555 adapter can be used to enable use with any commercially available angle grinder. This allows the sanding discs to be changed quickly and work to be performed much more efficiently.
