It is built around an aluminium unibody frame that offers high accuracy and repeatability. A hardened extrusion system allows the Mark Two to print Onyx - a micro carbon fibre-filled nylon filament that destroys conventional extrusion systems - reliably over thousands of hours of printing. The machine is designed to be easy to operate and maintain - from easily accessible wearing parts (such as nozzles and feed tubes) to user-friendly functions such as the printing bed, which can be removed and replaced with a repeatability of 10 μm.
