Zinc-plated steel, blue passivated, full thread, raised countersunk, AW drive
Connects the wood instead of splitting it
Special countersunk head Ø 7.2 mm, with light lens and under-head braking ribs to avoid damaging the surface.
- Thanks to the special head shape, the head fits cleanly in the fitting
- Thanks to the under-head braking ribs, over-turning of the screws in the fitting is prevented
Machine-capable AW drive system
- Better force transfer
- Longer life
- Optimum centring
- Largest possible contact surface
Asymmetrical entry thread with sharp tip.
- Quick bite and precise placement
- Low screw-in torque to increase the service life of the processing machine and the bit insert
- High over-turning force
- Faster screwing in than conventional chipboard screws
Ring thread – less tendency of the wood to split, very few blow-outs
- Minimal splitting forces, especially when screwing in at edges
- Reduction of the screw-in torque
- Blow-outs are avoided to a high degree thanks to the punching effect of the ring thread
Not for outdoor use! Please use ASSY stainless steel screws in these cases.
To attach metals to wood, bradawl a precise cutout in the metal tab.
ETA-11/0190
When using these screws, please follow ETA-11/0190 specifications.
The special head with restraining grooves makes it ideal for all timber window frame and furniture construction.
For coniferous wood or wood-based materials made from softwood, make the fitting without a bradawl. To reduce the edge distances make a predrilled hole according to the core diameter. When screwing into hardwood, drill according to ETA-11/0190.
