Close containers promptly again after opening and use the product as quickly as possible.
If the vacuum pouch is damaged, the material will harden.
Do not use in permanently wet areas as the jointing mortar loses its strength in standing water. Materials that absorb and store water, such as moss or foliage, must be removed from the surface of the joint on a regular basis.
Surfaces that are not to be jointed should be masked.
At high temperatures, the surface must be thoroughly pre-wetted. Heavy rain or a powerful water jet (e.g. from a hose nozzle) will separate the binder from the grain and have an adverse effect on the strength of the joint.
The properties of the stone may cause product residue to be left behind. A light resin film can give the surfaces a glossy appearance or make the colour change.
In case of doubt, please prepare a test surface. Always test for compatibility when using (cement- or plastic-bonded) artificial stone.
Ensure a sufficient incline.

- For grouting the joints in old and new paving in outdoor areas, e.g. in gardens, forecourts with decorative designs, pedestrian pavements or inner courtyards without traffic
- For N1 and N2 (bonded construction) in accordance with ZTV Wegebau (Supplementary Technical Conditions of Contract for the Construction of Paths and Public Spaces outside Areas of Road Traffic)
The jointing mortar is delivered ready to use in a vacuum pouch, packed in a bucket. It should not be mixed with other substances.
Cut the pouch open, spread the contents evenly over the surface and work it into the joints with a rubber squeegee or coconut brush.
For better filling and compaction, the material can be wetted with a soft water jet (e.g. from a watering can). Then refill the sunken joints with more slurry.
To finish, sweep the surface diagonally towards the joint using a soft broom to remove the residual mortar from the surface, then dispose of this excess product.
Tiles and slabs measuring less than 3 cm thick must be laid using the back buttering technique and grouted over the entire depth of the joint.
If the joint is more than 20 mm wide, the jointing mortar material inside must be sufficiently recompacted. Joints measuring less than 4 mm are more difficult to produce.
Surfaces treated in this way can be walked over after 24 - 48 hours at 20°C. The mortar is fully hardened after another seven days. The surface should be protected from frost during this time.
