This small abrasive mop is designed for hand-held devices. Can be used in radial or face grinding. The abrasive mop is suitable for processing metal, wood and plastic.
The mop's abrasive flaps are arranged in a cup shape. Its flexible, finned flaps adapt perfectly to the contours of the workpiece. The abrasive grain is made of corundum and bonded to the flaps using a synthetic resin.
The result of the flaps adapting to the workpiece surface texture is a soft grinding finish. Only the edges of the abrasive flaps are in contact with the workpiece surface during grinding. This means that only the upper flaps wear away and fresh abrasive grain is always available. As a result, the grinding finish remains consistent over the entire surface life of the small abrasive mop.
