The breathing hose of the hood is connected to the fan equipped with filters. The excess pressure generated inside the hood prevents the ingress of particles and other contaminants into the hood.
The hood can also be used with the SR 507 compressed air add-on.
The hood is characterised by the following properties:
- Protects the respiratory zone and the forehead
- Impact-resistant and chemical-resistant visor
- The incoming air prevents the visor from fogging up
- Adjustable headband set
- Fixed, flexible breathing hose
- Equipped with an exhalation valve
The equipment can be used as an alternative to filter protection in all situations where this is recommended. This is especially true for heavy-duty, hot or lengthy work.
The hoods are approved for use in explosive environments in conjunction with the SR 500 EX fan.
