The technical data refers to +20°C and 50 % relative humidity. Lower temperatures increase the specified values, while higher temperatures decrease the specified values.
Factors such as differences in how moist the substructure and the jointing mortar or surrounding environment is in places can cause differences in colour. We cannot assume any liability for colour deviations such as these or similar in the joint network created.
The properties of the stone may cause a thin film to remain after grouting.
Always prepare a test surface!
Vessels and tools etc. must be cleaned immediately with water, as once the material has hardened, cleaning can only be carried out mechanically.
Set mortar must not be mixed with water again.
The usage instructions are recommendations based on the tests we have conducted and on our experience; carry out your own tests before each application. Carefully mix the jointing mortar with 5 - 5.5 litres of clean tap water in a clean mixing vessel for 3 minutes to create a lump-free consistency. We recommend using a 600 rpm mixer to do this. Give the product approximately 2 minutes to mature, then stir through again before applying.
Pre-wet the surface and spread the compound over the top, working it into the joints using a rubber squeegee or similar tool and taking care to avoid trapping air pockets. The surface must be kept moist with spray mist while the material is setting.
Once the material has set (i.e. the material in the joint can no longer be pressed in with a finger), wet the surface, pre-clean it with a hard brush (scrubbing brush) and then wait approximately 10 minutes before washing it thoroughly.
