This is the specialist for welding seam machining on stainless steel. The four different degrees of fineness cover the entire range of machining operations, from adjusting the grinding finish through to the finish cut. The abrasive grain made from silicon carbide is bonded to the polyamide fibre fleece with synthetic resin.
This high-performance fleece disc is intended for use on a fillet weld sander. The best results are achieved in the mid speed range, i.e. at 5000-7500 rpm. Especially when machining stainless steel e.g. in container or tank construction, this tool is used for finishing as well as for eliminating small defects on the surface. It is also often used for matting or burnishing.
