The operating conditions for the PE-S/AL/PE-RT panel heating system are as set out in DIN 15875. The pipe systems are categorised into application classes. These specify the maximum operating temperatures over a defined period (based on a life cycle of 50 years).
Application class 4 (panel heating) operating temperatures:
20 °C for 2.5 years
+40 °C for 20 years
+60 °C for 25 years
+70 °C for 2.5 years
Malfunction temperature: 100 °C for up to 100 hours
permissible operating pressure: 10 bar.
