The series 3013 SIMPLEX soft-face hammer is equipped with insert combination TPE-soft/TPE-mid. Both inserts are thermoplastic elastomers and leave no paint abrasion; no unwanted black abrasion marks are left behind compared to a conventional rubber hammer. The blue TPE-soft insert is the softest insert in the SIMPLEX series and has a strong damping effect, making it suitable for sensitive work. The medium-hard, grey TPE-mid insert enables a higher impact force comparable to the rubber composition insert.
