Sanding sleeves are used in industry and trade for applications that require aggressive sanding with high removal rates and optimal control at the same time. These very short, closed sanding belts offer exactly the right length to be fitted onto the GK 555 rubber drum from Klingspor. On hand-held rotary machine running at high speeds - for example, a conventional drill - the GK 555 rubber drum is used for sanding operations that require good control over point-by-point sanding work. In most cases, a high removal rate is required. Depending on the choice of the sanding material, it is used for sanding wood, metal, plastic or lacquer.

As only the sanding sleeve is used when working with the rubber drum, but not the rubber drum itself, it can be reused as often as required.
