The head tube of the BLACKCRAFT soft-face hammer is filled with steel shot. This causes the shot filling to follow with a delay when the impact surface hits the workpiece. The reduced rebound makes optimum use of the impact energy. This allows for very powerful impacts. In addition, working is much safer, gentler on the joints and quieter than with ordinary steel hammers.
- Completely coated with polyurethane: no corrosion, no scratches on the workpiece, no sparks in the event of missed strikes, additionally low-vibration.
- Long service life due to thick polyurethane coating on the hammer sides.
