Gas filter SR 297, Class 1 is intended for use in Sundström half- and full-face masks.
- The filter (type ABEK) protects against the following types of gases and vapours:
- Type A protects against inorganic gases and vapours, e.g. solvents whose boiling point exceeds +65°C
- Type B protects against inorganic gases and vapours, e.g. chlorine, hydrogen sulphide and hydrogen cyanide
- Type E protects against acid gases and vapours, e.g. hydrogen sulphide and hydrogen fluoride
- Type K protects against ammonia and certain amines, e.g. ethylenediamine
- The gas filter can be easily combined with particulate filter SR 510 P3 R, offering additional protection against aerosols (particles), e.g. when spray painting
