Würth anchor nails or ASSY 3.0 joist hanger screws according to EN 14592 or ETA 11/0190 are to be used as fasteners. The specified load-bearing capacities are for softwood with a characteristic density of ρk ≥ 350 kg/m³. Design value of the load-bearing capacity of a fastener: FVM,Rd = kmod/gM = F1,Rk with gM = 1.3 Design value of the steel load-bearing capacity of the tension anchor: FS,Rd = FS,Rk/gM2 with gM2 = 1.25 Design value of the total load-bearing capacity: F1,Rd = min {n x FVM,Rd; FS,Rd} with n = number of nails The design value of the tensile force in the anchor bolt FB,Ed is to be calculated with the design value of the tensile force of a tension anchor FEd. The minimum distances between fasteners for sheet steel-wood connections according to EN 1995-1-1 must be observed. The specified values given were calculated on the assumption of an immovable intermediate layer according to Blass and Laskewitz "Load-bearing capacity of connections with pin-shaped fasteners and intermediate layers". |

Suitable fasteners:
- Comb/ribbed nails in line with EN 14592: 4.0 x 40 to 100mm
- ASSY 3.0 joist hanger bolt in accordance with ETA-11/0190 or EN 14592
- Bolts in line with manufacturers' specifications
- Recommended dowels for anchoring in concrete: W-BS; W-FAZ; W-VIZ; W-VM 250
The HTA tension anchor must be mounted with a washer or solid pressure plates for HTA tension anchors.
