Textured, powder-coated sheet steel print sheet for Prusa CORE One L

Overview

• The heat bed is equipped with embedded magnets that can also withstand higher temperatures


• The magnets are strong enough to firmly hold removable spring steel sheets in place


• The powder-coated metal surface is extremely durable and makes it almost impossible to damage the print sheet


• If a hot nozzle comes into contact with the metal, the surface can effectively dissipate the heat


• The powder coating creates a highly textured surface, which leaves a distinctive pattern on the printed models


• The textured surface reliably conceals most mechanical marks left by tools


• The tips of the small bumps may become scratched, but this does not affect the underside of the printed model

Advantages

• Scratch-resistant, difficult to damage


• Transfers texture to prints


• Prints detach automatically once the sheet cools


• Glue stick not required for PETG


• The first layer can be compressed more forcefully than on smooth sheets

Disadvantages

• PLA prints with a small contact area may require a brim


• PLA prints with a large footprint may warp


• If you also own a smooth PEI sheet, the Live Adjust Z setting needs to be adjusted


• Never clean using acetone

Consumables such as PEI sheets (smooth, textured etc.) are excluded from the warranty as the coatings are designed to diminish over time. The warranty still applies in the case of failure due to material or manufacturing faults. Cosmetic damage including but not limited to scratches, dents, cracks and other cosmetic faults are also not covered by the warranty. Only sheets defective on arrival are covered by the warranty.
