- Thread-rolling screw with countersunk head with milling pockets for securing floor panels to steel substructures
- Surface: Cr(VI)-free, zinc-flake silver coating
- Corrosion protection: approx. 700 hours with no base metal corrosion DIN EN ISO 9227-NSS
Thread-rolling screws form a nut thread in cast blind holes, rim holes and drilled, lasered and punched sheet metal parts. Unlike thread cutting, thread-rolling does not interrupt the material structure in the receiving thread. Instead, the material is displaced and strain-hardened.
The thread-rolling tip is not suitable for mounting. Thread-rolling tip length is 5xP (P = thread pitch, at diameter M6 P = 1 mm and at diameter M8 P = 1.25 mm).
Datasheets(X)
Floor plate mounting for trailers, loading areas, storage areas, etc.
- Select the drill diameter according to the material strength and thickness (see also "Reference value for hole diameter")
- In order to prevent the wooden panel from being lifted during the screwing process, the wooden panel can be pre-drilled 1 mm larger than the nominal diameter of the screw
- Countersunk head with milling pockets for optimal countersinking of the screw in the wood
- Preliminary testing is recommended
