Scope of delivery
Upgrade from one to two tool heads
- 1x 0.4 mm nozzle (for the existing Nextruder)
- 1x XL Multi-Tool Nextruder
- 1x tool changer

- Install one of the upgrade packages to increase the number of available tool heads and expand your 3D printing options.
- Additional extruders allow you to combine different materials and print in multiple colours with little to no waste.
To upgrade the XL with additional print heads, make sure that you have the tools listed below available. These are part of the Original Prusa XL package and should already be at your disposal.
Tools required for installation
- Mini wrench - used to calibrate the dock and can be replaced with a small slotted screwdriver if required
- Universal wrench - used to calibrate the dock
- PH2 screwdriver - a standard PH2 screwdriver is required for the clamping screws
- Needle-nose pliers
- T10 key - at least 71 mm long
- 2.5 mm hex key - at least 86 mm long, as thin as possible due to space limitations
- 3.0 mm hex key - at least 128 mm long
