Surface pre-treatment under bituminous and cement-based building waterproofing systems

Can be used on saline and problematic surfaces

  • Can be used on sandstone

  • Wide range of applications, one product for many applications

  • High application reliability

Can be used on surfaces in old and new buildings

Wide range of applications, therefore easy, safe use on construction sites

Penetrates surfaces well

  • Has a strengthening effect deep into the surface

  • Stabilises the surface

  • Creates an adhesive bridge between the surface and the seal

  • Reduces pores, thereby prevents salts from re-forming on the wall surface

  • Effective at protecting the surface against chemical and mechanical stresses

Ready for use, fast-drying

Can be applied directly, does not need to be stirred or thinned, resulting in secure, time-saving application

Solvent-free

Notice

Glass surfaces (windows or similar) must be protected from contact with the building waterproofing system primer coat, as contact may cause discolouration. During application, we recommend using personal protective equipment (safety goggles/gloves) occupational safety reasons. Clean with water immediately after use.

Application area

The usage instructions are recommendations based on the tests we have conducted and our experience; carry out your own tests before each application. Application area

Suitable for mineral surfaces (except for plaster), mortar, mineral plaster, cement-based sludge, brick, sand-lime brick and concrete in the areas of renovations and new buildings. Can be used in the Würth building waterproofing system to strengthen the surface and as an adhesion agent when bituminous (art. no. 0893 212 115/0893 212 120) and cement-based seals (art. no. 0893 212 125) are used. For reducing water absorption; also suitable for problematic surfaces such as sandstone.

Instructions

The surface must be free from oil, and must be cleaned of loose components. Salt efflorescence must be removed with a brush. Apply undiluted primer to the surface to be coated using the swab, brush or roller. The areas must be saturated to achieve effective priming. Highly absorbent surfaces (e.g. aerated concrete) must be primed twice. The primed surfaces can be worked with bituminous seals after approx. 12 hours and with cement-based seals after approx. 30 minutes.

The packaging unit defines the number of articles in one packaging. In the catalog segment you can choose from different packaging units if a pop-up menu is displayed.

Just leave the field empty if you don't know the packaging unit when directly entering the article number in the shopping basket or when importing with Easy-/VarioScan. The packaging unit will be determined automatically.
The article number is made up of the following: VVVVAAABBB
VVVV = 4 digits for prefix number (please note that the first digit is currently always 0)
AAA = 3 digits for dimension part 1
BBB = 3 digits for dimension part 2

Example article number structures:
Example 1: Screw with dimensions of 4x10 mm:
VVVVAAABBB
00574 10 (2 spaces between the 4 and the 10)

Example 2: Screw with dimensions of 10x20 mm:
VVVVAAABBB
005710 20 (1 space between the 10 and the 20)

Example 3: Flat washer with an internal diameter of 6 mm:

Price per packaging unit (PU):
The displayed price is always in line with the displayed packaging, if the PU is 250 the price for 250 units, if the PU is 300 the price for 300 units.

Price with price key representation (PSL):
The price always applies to a quantity ruled through the price key:
Price for 1 unit
Price for 100 units
Price for 1000 units
The quantity shows the number of pieces or units of measure contained in the order or delivery for the respective article.
In contrast to sales packaging and secondary packaging, the disposal costs for chemical-technical products are shown separately. The breakdown of the individual costs can be found on the relevant products and also in the shopping cart, as well as in our General Terms and Conditions (GTC).
