The inner external lens protects the inner surface of the filter against sparks and splashes. Can be used to equip the welding filter with an additional blackness value. If the filter is used without an inner external lens, warranty protection is not provided if sparks or debris damage the glass. The lens should be cleaned regularly with a soft cloth and must be replaced if scoring or scratches are evident.
