Wire rope clamps for cable end connections with minor requirements. For safety requirements, wire rope clamps in accordance with DIN EN 13411-5 must be used.
The clamping jaw must always be attached to the loaded part of the rope. Where a thimble is used in the loop design, the first wire rope clamp should be attached directly to the thimble. The distance between the wire rope clamps should be at least one wire rope clamp t. Whereby t is the width of the clamping jaw.
