One Piece hose fitting for Bridgestone hose with integrated ferrule. Note that the fitting is intended only for a specific hose type
- MM threads
- DKOL / DIN
- L series connection, 24° DIN cone
The One Piece connector is officially approved only for certain hoses.
One Piece connectors have been tested/certified for use with Bridgestone/Intertraco tubes.
The official compression dimensions are in use when the One Piece connector is attached to a Bridgestone/Intertraco tube.
One Piece connectors have not been tested for use with Tekno/Premier tubes.
The pipe size is measured from the bottom of the connector; the bottom is the lap diameter.
Note the ferrule stripes and the K or J type marking on the One Piece connector.
K: intended for a 2-ply cross-ply tube, sizes 1/4” = 04 and 3/8” = 06.
Those with the J mark can be used in both 2-cross weave, 3-cross weave and 4-Spiral hoses, we have sizes 1/2” = 08 – 1 1/4” = 20.
The strength of a K-type ferrule is significantly lower than a J-type ferrule. The two types have their own compression dimension tables.
