CERAfix 420 can be added to achieve deformation class S2:
Mixing ratio: 2.5 kg of CERAfix 420 : 25 kg of CERAfix 410.

CERAfix 410 is a quick-hardening, solid thin-bed mortar for rapid work progress. Suitable for laying ceramic tiles and panels using the thin-bed or medium-bed method. CERAfix 410 is suitable for indoor and outdoor use and heated and unheated substrates.

Substrates must be prepared in accordance with the requirements of DIN 18157-1 and best practice. Check the substrate and use the CM method to determine the residual moisture.

Substrate
The substrate must be dry, load bearing, sufficiently flat and free of continuous cracks, loose parts and adhesion-impairing substances. Prime absorbent substrates with CERAfix 101.
Suitable substrates
- Firmly adhered tile coverings, concrete, cement screed (CT), floor-levelling compounds, calcium sulphate screeds (CA, CAF), poured tarmac screeds (AS), magnesia screeds (MA)
- Cement-based plasters, gypsum plaster, lime cement plaster, lightweight-plaster tile backer board, gypsum fibreboard, plasterboard, cavity floors, cement and fibre cement panels, uncoupling mats and panels, dry screeds
Compound sealing: Test and assess the suitability of the substrate, taking into account the planned water impact class in accordance with DIN 18534 and DIN 18531.
- In a clean bucket, mix CERAfix 410 with clean water into a smooth mixture
- Mixing ratio: 7.75 to 8.25 litres of water
- Leave to mature, then stir again
Do not mix with other cementitious mortars!
Apply a contact layer of CERAfix 410 on the substrate and comb through with a suitable notched trowel. Lay covering materials within the adhesive open time.
